The aim of this case study is to design a model that enabled high school students to learn how to work during high school and to target higher education courses for high school students according to the LOPS2021 process.
Case study description. University cooperation was discussed with the University of Oulu, OAMK and Centria AMK. Information and awareness-raising sessions were held for high school students. The working-life course was able to be completed primarily during the summer and, secondarily, alongside upper secondary school studies. The information sessions also explained how to choose and complete higher education studies for upper secondary school students during the second year of study. In the autumn semester, an experience and feedback seminar was held with graduates and new entrants to work-related courses.
